Green Tourmaline and Peridot Ring

Green tourmaline, also known as verdelite, is a pleochroic crystal. This means that displays different colors or depth of color when looking at it from different angles. 

Peridot originates from the earth's mantle and is brought to surface by volcanic activity. It is also one of the few gemstones the occur in only one color, in this case green. Peridot is also the birthstone of August.
